Road reflective glass microbeads are small glass beads formed by high-temperature melting of glass sand (waste glass) as raw material. They appear spherical, colorless, and transparent under a microscope, with a refractive index between 150-1.64 and a diameter generally between 44 microns and 1400 microns. Currently, the main process for producing road reflective glass beads in China is the flame floating method. As a reflective material in road marking (paint), road luminous glass microbeads can improve the anti reflective performance of road marking coatings and enhance the safety of night driving, which has been confirmed by transportation departments of various countries. When the car is driving at night, the headlights shine on the road markings with glass microbeads, which can make the light of the headlights reflect back parallel, allowing the driver to see the direction of travel clearly and improving the safety of night driving. Nowadays, reflective glass microbeads have become an irreplaceable reflective material in road safety products
